Admir M. Nake has completed his PhD at the age 40. He offer expertise in lab.medicine, microscopy, imunoenzymology, biochem assays, biomarkers, lab as a part of public health policy in Albania, with aim to update point of view in diagnosis, monitoring and prognosis criteria, in education and curricula of lab staff, environment projects and application of principles of Aarhus convention. He has published the book “ Applied Biochemstry, part I” in Albania, more than 30 papers in conferences and journals in national and international levels. He is editorial board member of 2 journals, one of them in international level.

Introduction.: Ca125 is a validated surrogate tumor marker as a part of diagnosis, treatment screening and prognosis of ovarian and paraovarian cysts or tumor mass.\r\nAim.: Comparative assessment of importance of Ca125 in female reproductive system pathologies. \r\nMaterial and Methods.: We investigate 283 women, diagnosed with reproductive system pathologies, near “ King Geraldine” and “Koco Gliozheni” Hospital Centers, during 5 years( 2007-2012). Determinations of Ca125 were realized with immunoenzymatic methods. \r\nResults.: Ca125 values (U / ml): control group = 8.5 ± 4.93 compared with fibromioma = 23.7 ± 12.6(p<0.0001), no endometrial ovarian cysts 16 ± 11.6 compared with endometrial cysts: 87.8 ± 55.3( P<0.0001) ovarian cancer stageI-II = 94.3 ± 46.3 compared with ovarian cancer stage III-IV: 826 ± 731.( p<0.0001)\r\nConclusions.: Determination of Ca 125 is important part of clinical practice, included in diagnostic algorithm of ovarian tumor mass.
